قالت الشركة المنتجة لفيلم مايكل جاكسون (this is it) يوم الاثنين ان الفيلم المبني على لقطات مصورة للتدريبات التي كان يجريها استعدادا لاقامة حفل قبل وفاته في حزيران سيقام عرضه الاول في وقت واحد في اكثر من 15 مدينة في شتى انحاء العالم الشهر المقبل.
وُيفتتح (this is it) للجماهير يوم 28 من تشرين الاول لمدة عرض محدودة باسبوعين. وغالبا ما تكون افلام هوليوود لها اكثر من عرض اول في انحاء العالم ونادرا ما يحدث ذلك في نفس الوقت.

وقالت سوني بيكتشرز التي دفعت 60 مليون دولار أميركي من اجل حقوق فيلم تدريبات الحفل انه بالنسبة لفيلم (this is it) فإن اكثر من 15 مدينة من بينها نيويورك وريو دي جانيروولندن وبرلين وسول سوف تستضيف العروض الاولى في وقت واحد وسيكون حدث السجادة الحمراء في لوس انجليس يوم 27 من تشرين الاول. ولم ُتعلن اسماء المدن الاخرى التي سيقام فيها العروض الاولى.

وستتميزعروض الافتتاح ببث مباشر عبر الاقمار الصناعية لوصول نجوم هوليوود إلى حفل الافتتاح في لوس انجيليس.
ويقام العرض الاول في لندن بعد منتصف الليل بالتوقيت المحلي يوم 28 من تشرين الاول بينما من المقرر ان يقام حدث العاصمة الكورية سول صباح ذلك اليوم.

وستقام العروض الاولى في اكثر من 25 مدينة في انحاء العالم ولكن الفيلم لن يعرض بها كلها في نفس الوقت.
تجدرالاشارة إلى انه في الايام التي سبقت وفاة جاكسون نتيجة جرعة زائدة من وصفة طبية يوم 25 من حزيران كان يقوم بالاعداد للعودة باقامة 50 عرضا في لندن

Showing off her stylish ways, Rihanna was spotted making her way around New York City on Tuesday afternoon (September 22).
Wearing a fierce grey dress, the Barbadian beauty offered up a smile to paparazzi as she continues to stay in the Big Apple while working on a brand new album - for which she’s recruited Justin Timberlake and Chase & Status to serve as producers.
Talking about the project, Timberlake told Access Hollywood, “In my opinion, she’s got the world in the palm of her hand right now, based on her success with her last record. The stuff we’ve come up with in the studio, it’s the next step for her. It’s a little more grown up. It’s got some edge to it.”
Continuing to dish about the much-anticipated disc, Saul Milton of Chace & Status tells, “When she doesn’t like something she’ll let you know. When she likes somethingshe’ll let you know as well. On one track she came up with some melodies and ideas, the kind of vibe she wanted. This album for her is just about what she likes and what she’s into and what she wants. If she’s not into the vibe she’ll be like, ‘Nope, I don’t think it’s for me.’”
While the followup to “Good Girl Gone Bad” is thought to be out early next year, some vendors are claiming a November 23, 2009 drop date.

Whitney Houston made quite the comeback, as the singer’s album, I Look To You, went straight to number one in the United States.
Billboard album charts report that it has shifted a whole 305,000 units - a huge number for first week sales for Whitney’s career and the biggest breakthrough female artist this year.
Whitney will also appear on Oprah Winfrey that will air next week.
Meanwhile, Houston revealed a dark side of herself, saying she was so desperate to escape showbiz and get out of the limelight that she was ready to run to a small island so she could put all her time and effort into raising her daughter and looking out for her mother.
“Three-and-a-half years ago, I was thinking about moving to a small island and setting up a food cart. I was just ready to lie back and raise my daughter [Bobbi Kristina Brown] and just watch her grow and nurture her.”

Paula Abdul: Life After Idol

Since she won’t be returning to “American Idol,” Paula Abdul may be taking her career in a totally different direction.
The 47-year-old says one of her post-“Idol” projects may include a talk show. Talking to TV Guide she said, “I definitely want to do a talk show because it would be different.”
Elaborating on the potential new show, Paula explains, “It would be a lot of fun variety with a ton of unexpected stuff and tributes to everyday people getting their big chance.”
Abdul - who recently filmed two episodes of Lifetime’s “Drop Dead Diva” and will host VH1’s “Divas Live” on Sept. 17 – says her post-“Idol” life “Has been incredible. I feel like I’m having the best time of my life right now.”

Anna Kournikova and Enrique Iglesias: Wedding Bells?

Enrique Iglesias and tennis player Anna Kournikova have been dating for almost eight years now - but rumor has it they may be hitched soon!
The couple was spotted spending the afternoon at the Cartier Champs-Elysees boutique in Paris, where they spent 40 minutes inside the fancy jewelry store, but it is unknown if they walked out with any bling.



The 28 year-old tennis star has avoided engagement rumors and has said she is “never getting married,” but boyfriend Iglesias, 34, has been vocal about wanting to marry the athlete.
“I always try, but she pays me no attention,” Iglesias told reporters a couple of days after Kournikova made her marital comments.
Back in 2004, rumors surfaced that the twosome got hitched in a private ceremony in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, when Kournikova was seen wearing a wedding band on her ring finger - but said it wasn’t true.
The couple continued to face speculation in May 2007, when Iglesias told a Swedish newspaper, “We’re divorced. I am single now, but that’s okay. I don’t mind being alone.” He later retracted his quotes and told reporters it was simply a joke.

Grand Prix concerts to start with Beyoncé

Abu Dhabi // The American R&B singer Beyoncé will kick-start a weekend of entertainment during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, performing for tens of thousands of race ticket holders on October 29.

Those who have bought tickets for the Formula One racing are guaranteed free access to stage performances on the days for which they hold tickets, said John Lickrish, managing director of Flash, the concert organiser.

The 25,000 people with three-day tickets will also be able to attend the opening concert. Relatively few people who have not bought race tickets will be able to attend any of the concerts; a limited number of show tickets will be given to members of the public. After Formula One stars such as Fernando Alonso, Lewis Hamilton and the world championships leader Jenson Button leave the track for the day, the entertainment will be far from over.

Beyoncé, a multi-Grammy Award winner, has been confirmed to play the opening night, sources close to the organisers have said.

Aerosmith, the rock band known for hits including Walk This Way and I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing, will perform the grand finale for the festivities, after Formula One’s first day-night race on November 1.

The 22,000 people who have bought Saturday and Sunday passes will be able to attend the evening events on both days, organisers said. “We are aware of the confusion, but it is simple: if you are able to get on to the racetrack on any given day, you can come to see the artist that evening,” Mr Lickrish said.

To accommodate all ticket holders, the concerts will have a capacity matching that of the circuit – which seats more than 41,000.

“It is very likely on the Saturday and Sunday we will have the vast majority of people who are at the race coming to see the gig. We will be able to get them all in,” Mr Lickrish said.

“If people have read something saying it will only be a few thousand who can see the concerts, it is totally wrong. It will be more like 40,000 plus.”

A huge stage has been constructed opposite the Yas Island track’s North Grandstand at the Ferrari World Concert Arena.

Sources close to the organisers dismissed media reports that the US band No Doubt, headed by the singer and fashion designer Gwen Stefani, and the Canadian singer Nelly Furtado would perform on October 30 and 31.

Organisers have also denied that the Australian rockers AC/DC or the Irish band U2 will play, as had been rumoured. Two more acts will be announced early next week, they said. A stage is also being constructed on the Corniche, where events will be held in tandem with the Formula One entertainment.

Last week, the developer Aldar Properties handed the Yas Marina Circuit over to the organisers of the Grand Prix, two and a half years after construction began and six weeks before the track’s first race.

The race weekend is expected to attract almost 60,000 fans, and organisers said 90 per cent of the tickets had already been sold.
